At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option."
(2 Corinthians 4:8 TPT)
One day when I was reading scriptures I came to this verse and as you can see here Paul wrote such a tremendous line, it's like he wrote it especially for this generation. And yes it's true, multiple times we don't know what to do and we feel like giving up and for some reason sometimes we did give up on many things or on people because either pressure is staggering or you can't cope up with everything or you feel tired. But it's okay to feel that way sometimes I feel all this too but the key is not to quit.
Now let me tell you a story briefly "There once was a man named Joseph, he was a son of the patriarch named Jacob. And Joseph was his father's beloved son and because of that Joseph was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. But after all his suffering and tribulation he rose and became the second most powerful person after Pharaoh. All this happened because he didn't give up and trusted in the Lord and waited for his timing. It would have been easy for him to react in anger, to grow bitter and lazy, without caring about the world around him after all he had faced but he didn't do any of these things instead he waited patiently."
Now I'm going to tell you about the greatest love story of all time, and no it's not Romeo and Juliet or any Disney story or Jack and Rose but it's about God and his love for mankind that he gave his only son for us without a second thought, he could have given up on us but he didn't rather he provide us a path to him and a hope in his son Jesus Christ. If the creator of all didn't give up why would we?
If you feel like you are almost at the edge of giving up and you feel like you don't know what's going on or what's gonna happen or voices are too loud but let me tell you today that there's hope in Christ if you don't feel calm or peaceful come to Christ you'll find peace in him if you have started to give up on any person it can be your friend, family member, your boyfriend, or girlfriend, your husband or wife, alright come to Christ and put them in his hand. All you have to do is to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins and you'll find a new life in him.
I'm not saying if you accept Christ you won't face those situations again but he will give you the strength to go on and shipwrecks will come, tides will try to wash you away but he will strengthen you and hold you. The night may be the darkest but the sun will soon begin to rise just hold on and don't give up you'll get through this.
God Bless You
